Growing up in Iowa with parents who owned their own advertising agency, Jeff was raised with an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to make people feel special. Starting in elementary school delivering newspapers and mowing neighbors yards, the seeds of making the customer happy were planted. After graduating college with an advertising and marketing degree, there was a thirty year career in the residential building materials industry. A message kept re-occurring, make your customer feel like they’re your only one. Listen to their wants, needs, likes, and dislikes.
Many of the components of a successful career in the building materials industry easily translated into the real estate market. So it comes as no surprise almost thirty years later, that Jeff followed the advice of many of his business associates and friends…”you would be a great realtor!” Jeff asked them why they thought that was and he would get the responses of: “he follows through with what he says he will do”, “Jeff is always looking out for our best interests”, and “I can always get in touch with Jeff”. Simple core principles, but one’s that have helped set Jeff apart from others.
In real estate, time is of the essence. Jeff’s ability to pinpoint his clients search when houses hit the market helps give them an advantage to close on their new home. His work ethic, communication skills and professional approach help guide his clients during the home buying process. For the last fifteen years, Jeff and his family have called Chesterfield home. His outside interests include spending time with family, friends, long walks with his dog, cooking, and working in the yard.
